  • 40 Years Combined Experience: Our team brings over 40 years of experience and deep familiarity of the Washington, DC market. We have experience in buying, selling, construction and development.

  • Proprietary evaluation model: We have developed proprietary software to analyze data points in order to assist in determining an investment’s strengths and/or weaknesses. We use this to determine both land and home price. We couple this analytical research with our local market experience to provide our clients with the confidence in making real estate related investment decisions.

  • Lending Support: We have a rich understanding of the residential mortgage processes, property evaluation and appraisals and underwriting with 27 years of relationship building with local lenders. We support our clients during the underwriting process so that they are comfortable and confident they are getting the best value during the purchase process.

  • Off Market Deals: Our deep roots in the local Washington, DC real estate market allow us to find and handle off-market opportunities for clients. We have access to deals and opportunities due to our extensive network that the general public does not.

  • Development Potential: We review all the factors pertaining to the development potential of a property including covenants, tree studies and preservation or conservancy restrictions. Included also herein in this analysis is a knowledge and understanding of zoning, setbacks and FAR and the software to produce analyses for clients. We understand the full potential of a property and pass this on to our clients so that they can make a confident decision on their investment.

  • Maximizing Investments: Our firm understanding of construction and pricing helps buyers and/or builders ensure successful returns on investment and maximization of value. We utilize our experience and evaluation models to present potential buyers and builders the strengths and/or weaknesses of a potential investment.

  • Engineering Experience: Our 15 years in engineering and development of single family and large scale multifamily projects allows us to provide clients with a level of expertise and knowledge that traditional brokerages cannot.

  • Managing Post Ratification Process: We guide buyers through everything up to and including settlement. Things like inspections, appraisal reviews, estimates, construction document reviews, repairs, punch lists and document review including homeowners association or condo docs. We are there to support our clients during all phases of their investment process so that they are comfortable and confident in their decisions.

  • Network of Resources: With over 40 years of experience in the local market, we’ve developed an extensive network of design professionals, service providers, contractors, lenders, settlement attorneys, land use attorneys, and tradesmen to assist you. Our extensive experience in construction, both design and general contracting, allows us to determine the best pathway for our clients to maximize their property. All decisions will be seen through the lens of “ROI” or your return on investment.  

  • Marketing: Palisades Brokerage feels that the marketing of a property extends beyond glossy 4K photos of the property. It should tell a story. From wood flooring that was salvaged and reconditioned from a barn in Vermont to copper gas lanterns that were recovered and reconditioned from New Orleans, we want the marketing literature of your property to resemble something worthy of a newsstand or your coffee table. 

  • Promotion: Even though we feel that the product will speak for itself, Palisades will actively get the word out through websites, print and word of mouth.
